Juventus currently trail Inter by seven points in the Serie A table, but Claudio Ranieri’s men will have a marvellous opportunity to cut that gap next month when Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Olimpico.

“I took my time and compared our fixture list to that of Inter and Milan, just to be cautious about a second-place finish,” Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli told Tuttosport.

“My predictions were right last weekend and now we’ll see what happens over the next few weeks. I believe we will defeat Inter, because we have to win that game at all costs, but I won’t reveal the rest…

“However, should we overcome the Nerazzurri, our chances could raise to 40-45 per cent, particularly if Udinese will remember they wear Bianconero too.”

The Zebrette drew both games with the Beneamata last term and will welcome Jose Mourinho’s men to the Stadio Friuli next weekend, while Juve host a resurgent Chievo side who have picked up ten points from their last four outings.
