The Italian press recently linked talented Ajax defender Gregory van der Wiel with Italian giants Juventus. However, the 21-year-old has stated that he's not even considering leaving Ajax this summer and that a move to Juventus isn't an option at the moment.

"I've read the reports linking me with Juventus," Van der Wiel said to Goal.com. “The alleged interest is flattering, but it remains to be seen whether they're really interested in me. My agent hasn't spoken with Juventus yet.

"Nigel de Jong recently advised some Dutch internationals to move abroad at a young age, but not every player is ready for such a challenge at a young age.

"I'm not ready yet to leave Ajax and move abroad. Therefore, I'm not considering leaving the club this summer. Not even for a big team like Juventus."

The young defender has developed into an important first team player this campaign and has also impressed Holland boss Bert van Marwijk with his good performances. Van der Wiel made his official Holland debut in the friendly match against Tunisia.
