Juventus hitman David Trezeguet insists he is honoured at playing for the club as he prepares for his tenth year in Turin.

The Frenchman has not enjoyed the best of season's this year as he was hampered with injury, and this was followed by minor squabbles with coach Claudio Ranieri. However, the former Monaco man has put his woes behind him as he displays his love for the club.

"It's a massive honour for me to be playing for Juventus," Trezeguet told Le Figaro.

"I am honoured belonging to the history of a club where other French champions like [Michel] Platini and [Zinedine] Zidane have played.

"This club is like a family for me and it's one of the few sides in Europe which has players who have been here for a good part of ten years."

Although Trezeguet has won domestic honours with Juventus, he is hoping to lift the Champions League trophy with them in the future.

"I miss winning the Champions League as I have already won two Scudetti and a top-scorers award with Juve," he concluded.
