Cassano To Join Juventus - Reports

Juventus are ready to make a move for Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano in June, according to Tuttosport.

Cassano To Join Juventus - Reports
Il Talentino Di Bari Vecchia has not repeated the form he was in last season so far this term and reports in Italy suggest he is looking for a new challenge.

The lack of call ups from Marcello Lippi has lead to speculation that Cassano is being neglected because he is not playing for a top-four club.

Alessio Secco has been watching the Blucerchiati man and he is ready to beging moving and shaking next summer.

However, prising Cassano away from Marassi will not be easy for Juventus as they like to operate on tight budgets with new stadium plans affecting their buying powers. Il Talentino has an €18m clause in his contract which Juve will have to pay if they want to snap him up.

Samp chief Beppe Marotta recently stated that if the money was right he would sell up. Tuttosport claims the director will even move to Turin himself to join the Juventus board in order to facilitate the move and bring Cassano to Vinovo.

The Old Lady has come under heavy criticisms for the transfer policies being implemented at the club and thus Juve are trying to silence the critics and sign someone who can help with their Scudetto and Champions League push.
