Group A of the Primavera championship has come to a turning point. Juventus can begin its final sprint towards the first place which is important to obtain a front seat at the start of the play-offs.

The rivals of the bianconeri have left points behind them one team at a time. This is very much thanks to Genoa who continues to be the surprise of this last part of the season. After having won in Siena, the rossoblu drew in the derby against Sampdoria on Sunday morning.

This result together with the 4-1 obtained against Pisa has allowed Maddaloni’s team to maintain its leadership with a point more then Siena, two more then Samp, three more then Empoli and five more then Genoa. The margin may be increased further. On Thursday afternoon, at the Chisola, the bianconeri will play the postponed match against Piacenza. A victory against the emiliani who are currently second from last in the table, would allow Juventus to spend a great Easter and to face the last three matches before the end of the regular season in the best of conditions.

In order to prepare for this match, the team will return to work in the afternoon at the Juventus Center. The session will also see the participation of Yang Yun, the Chinese youngster on trial with the bianconeri and who yesterday saw the most awaited moment of his stay in Turin: his presence at the Stadio Olimpico to watch the match of the first team of which he is an avid supporter.
