Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar looks set to appear against Juventus next weekend after returning to training ahead of schedule. The 29-year-old Brazil international missed Saturday's game with Palermo after pulling an abductor muscle in his right leg the weekend beforehand. Veteran goalkeeper Francesco Toldo stepped in for him and did little to comfort Jose Mourinho, conceding two avoidable goals. Cesar arrived at training this morning, though, and took part in a game of five-a-side in which he made a series of fine acrobatic saves. The news comes as a boost to Inter, who can move 13 points clear at the top of Serie A by beating Juventus this weekend. Cesar has been one of Inter's best performers this season and is now considered the No 1 goalkeeper in the world. channel4 |
