Chelsea could step in to lure Juventus striker David Trezeguet, according to Tuttosport. Trezeguet's future has been uncertain since he rowed with Coach Claudio Ranieri after exiting the Champions League. The French international was aggrieved at being replaced during the last 16 second leg against Chelsea. And it has been suggested in Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport that the Blues could pounce this summer. The West London outfit are reportedly considering a bid of around £8m for the unsettled star. Trez has made over 200 appearances for the Old Lady and is under contract until 2011. Juve are reportedly lining up Udinese ace Fabio Quagliarella as a replacement. channel4 |
